It’s been quite a year in our church body. There have been new families who have joined our church family, lots of new babies and even grandbabies, and new life in Christ as we witnessed and celebrated baptisms. But it hasn’t been without its share of suffering and loss and grief. As individuals, as families, as brothers and sisters in Christ who are an integral part of this local church family, we have witnessed suffering together on a magnified scale.
